Thank you for reserving an Alpenglobe for our third annual Christkindl Markt! We’re excited to celebrate the holiday season with you and want to ensure your experience is nothing short of magical. Below are all the details you’ll need to make the most of your visit. Please take a moment to review everything before your reservation date.

Dates: November 19 – December 23
Location: Grand Rapids Downtown Market, 435 Ionia Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503
The Grand Rapids Christkindl Markt is a Christmas village filled with artisan gift and food vendors, holiday entertainment, and festive family fun. Inspired by traditional European Christmas markets, this winter wonderland is beaming with unique holiday experiences, all illuminated with international flair.
Once you're parked, head to the Info Booth (marked here). Our friendly on-site staff will be there to greet you and guide you to your assigned Alpenglobe.

Included Amenities
Seating: Comfortable seating for up to 8 people The maximum capacity is 10 people.
Heating: Your Alpenglobe is equipped with two heaters to ensure the perfect temperature!
Music: Each Alpenglobe has its own personal Bluetooth speaker! Prep your playlist in advance for some festive tunes.
Pre-Ordered Food & Beverages: If you placed a pre-order 72+ hours in advance, your pre-order will be waiting for you when you arrive. If you haven’t placed your order yet, please do so at least 72 hours in advance.
Dedicated Server: Your server will be happy to offer additional drinks, glassware, and answer any questions you have during your visit.
As a reminder, if you do not place a pre-order for food or beverages, you are welcome to purchase food and drinks from the market vendors (inside the Market Hall or outside from Christkindl vendors) and bring them into your Alpenglobe. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
What to Bring
Warm Clothing: While your Alpenglobe will be cozy, please keep in mind that the Christkindl Markt is fully outdoors, so be sure to bundle up!
Special Accommodations: If you have any specific needs, please let us know in advance so we can ensure your visit is comfortable.
Parking & Transportation
On-Site Parking: Available for $25 (card payment only).
Additional Parking: There is a City Parking Lot located directly across the street for $1.00 per hour. Additional street parking is available within walking distance. Please plan for extra time to park, as these lots can fill up quickly during peak times.
Public Transport: Free DASH routes run every 15 minutes, 7 days a week, with a stop at McConnell/Ionia, just outside the Grand Rapids Downtown Market.
Accessibility: The venue is wheelchair accessible, and we have designated spaces for easy access on site.
