Where do I check-in for my curling reservation?
Please visit the curling check-in area inside the Downtown Market on the second floor, near the Greenhouse and Banquet Room.

Where are the curling sheets located?
The curling sheets are located on the second floor outdoor terrace that overlooks the Christmas village. Access them by using the main staircase or elevator inside the Downtown Market.

What is curling?
Curling is a winter sport, traditionally played on ice, where two teams take turns sliding "stones" toward a target known as a "house". Knock your opponent off, perfect your sliding form, have some frosty fun—closest to the target wins!

Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes, reservations are required for a curling rental. Please use the reservation tool here to book.

How long is each curling reservation?
Each reservation is one hour. See available time slots below.

How many curling sheets are there?
There are four sheets available for each time slot. Email reservations@christkindlmarktgr.com to reserve multiple curling sheets for the same time slot, based on availability.

What’s included in the reservation?
Exclusive curling sheet access, 38 feet of synthetic "ice", and eight curling stones.

What is your cancellation policy?
We do not offer refunds or cancellations, but you can reschedule your reservation up to two weeks before your reservation date.

Can I transfer my reservation to someone else if I am no longer able to attend?
Of course! If the guest who made the reservation is no longer able to attend, please contact the Christkindl Markt event team at reservations@christkindlmarktgr.com to coordinate a transfer.

What happens to my reservation if there is inclement weather? 
If the Downtown Market and Christkindl Markt close due to weather conditions, a refund will be provided.

What if I’m late to my reservation?
We cannot change curling reservation times.

Are the curling sheets ADA accessible?
Please email reservations@christkindlmarktgr.com for accessibility arrangements.

Are children allowed on the curling sheets?
Yes. They are family-friendly.

Are pets allowed on the curling sheets?
As much as we love furry friends, pets are not allowed in the curling area (service animals as defined by the ADA are allowed).

Is smoking allowed?
Smoking/vaping is not allowed. The Christkindl Markt/Downtown Market is a smoke-free campus.

What if my party damages the curling sheet?
If your party damages the curling sheet, you will be billed accordingly.
